We get to choose how we “flow” with Life. Some of us choose to paddle against the current. Some of us seem to be up the creek without a paddle. But if we’re ready to let go of what seems to create struggle in our life, if we’re ready to release whatever seems to keep us “stuck,” if we’re tired of saying “no” to our good through our focus on what we don’t like about our self and the world around us, we free our self to flow with Life with grace and ease. There are so many blessings for us to say “Yes” to in every season of our life, so much for us to enjoy, appreciate and celebrate if we want to. And who doesn’t want to, even when we don’t? When we’re flowing with grace and ease, when we’re not worrying about what might be, and instead we’re trusting the currents of life, unlimited blessings flow to us and through us.

Even if we find our self complaining from time-to-time about what we don’t like in our life and the world, we’re aware there’s no Joy in complaining, and we’d rather appreciate and celebrate those things in life that bring us joy because Joy is natural to us. But, so often we believe we have to wait to celebrate the good news about something that seems to be threatening us with bad news, or we’re waiting for something or someone to change so that we can be happy. But nothing needs to change for us to say “yes” to Joy because It lives within us unassisted and unaffected by the circumstances and appearances of the world. Yet, Joy affects those circumstances and appearances just the same.

Joy just is. We don’t need a reason for Joy, feeling It is the reason. Our “Yes” to Joy enlivens It in us and It spreads Its uplifting Energy into every area of our life. When we choose preemptive Joy, Joy that precedes Its outer form, Joy we feel for no apparent physical reason, our negative “yeah buts” about life become less and less. Joy gains momentum every time we choose It because every time we choose It we’re deliberately growing with the Flow of Life.

Abraham-Hicks tells us, “You get to choose what you focus upon and you get to choose what manifests and you get to choose how you feel about it when it does. Every time you know what you don’t want, what you do want becomes a real thing.” The Universe doesn’t take “no” for an answer even when we say “no” to our good through our complaining and grumbling about the not-so-good we don’t want. Every time we know what we don’t want, what we do want is vibrationally created by our desire and becomes a real thing. The Source of creation only creates the good, beautiful and holy. We are One with the One that creates only Good. Its Pure Positive Energy flows to us, and through our desires we become more of It.

We are natural receivers of good because we flow within an Invisible Unlimited Stream of It. We live in It and It lives in us, and every time we think, It responds to our positive desire. We read in The Science of Mind, “There is One Infinite God. One! One! One! ‘I Am God and there is none else.’ Every time man speaks to This God, he receives a direct answer. There is One Limitless Life which returns to the thinker what he thinks into It. One! One! One! In all, over all and through all.” Just because we’re not paying attention, and focusing instead on the not-so-good, doesn’t mean our good has been declined It’s always there within us for us to turn to if we want to. Allowing It to manifest in our life is up to us.

The only seeming effort there is in our living a happy life of healthy positivity is the effort we put into resisting the All-That-Is Good in us and in the world with our decision to focus on what is not-so-good in our personal life and the world instead. It’s our decision to think about, talk about, and be upset about unwanted events, situations and conditions that causes negative feelings within us. And, even though it doesn’t feel good when we do it, we do it because it appears to us that we have every good reason to do it!

Choosing Joy and feeling good can often seem like an unreasonable choice, and it often it is. Our positivity may even be frustrating and irritating to those around us. But choosing otherwise keeps us from growing with the Flow that natural to us. We are the only One who can say “Yes” to the Good that is already Present in us, and we are the only One who can experience Its “Yes” in us—“Yes” to healing of our body and our planet, “Yes” to harmony in our relationships and to unity in the world. “Yes” allows us to feel our Oneness with the Unseen Force of our existence. It allows us to recognize the power and dominion we have over the thoughts of our mind no matter what’s happening.

Our free will has to do with our Oneness with the One Infinite God and nothing else. When we realize that there is no opposition anywhere to our Good, we stop worrying about when It will appear. The God that Is Love is never done with us even when we believe we have good reason to be done with Love. Love is always saying “Yes” to us even when we say “no” to It because we believe we have good reason not to love. Our mind has a thousand reasons why we should not love this one and that one and the other one, when all the while there is only One. One! One! One! One Infinite God and none else, and we are expressions of that One even when we’re choosing not to express what we are.

Abraham-Hicks tells us, “You have the free will to blend with your Source or not, to allow or to resist, to open your valve, so to speak, to be in alignment with who you really are or not.” We are free to blend our Earth life with Love. We can choose It or resist It with a thousand good reasons. Thank God we don’t need a reason to Love. Feeling It is the reason. Our “Yes” to Love enlivens It in us and Its healing Energy spreads into every area of our life. When the Love within us precedes Its outer form, when we feel It for no apparent physical reason, when we say “Yes” to Love when we could justifiably say “no, our “yeah buts” about our self and others become less and less. Love gains momentum every time we choose It because every time we choose It we’re deliberately growing with the Flow of Life.

The Love within us isn’t dependent on the appearance of things because Love is what we are, and every time we choose It we choose our Self. Nisargadatta wrote, “When the mind is kept away from its worries, it becomes silent. If you do not disturb this silence and remain in it, you find that it is permeated with a light and a love you have never known, and yet you recognize it immediately as your own nature.” When our valve is open to the One Light of Love, we have no doubt as to the One we are One with, the One we really are. Our mind opens to the greater perspective of our Heart. We stop resisting our good because we feel worthy of receiving it. And, we stop resisting loving others because we know everyone else is worthy of Love too.

Life, just as It Is, is naturally good—behind, beneath and within whatever appears to be—because Its Source is Love. Love is the basis of All-That-Is, and All-That-It is everywhere, all the time, including right where we are. And even though we may often forget that’s so, Love is never done remembering It’s True. Every time we make a choice to Love, no matter what, we’re saying “Yes” to the healing of our body and our planet, “Yes” to harmony in our relationships and to unity in the world. We are saying “Yes” to the answers to our questions and prayers, and “Yes” to greater spiritual awareness because we are saying “Yes” to the Holy Source of our Life that from beginning of our creation has said “Yes” to us. We read in The Science of Mind, “Talk, live, act, believe, and know that you are a center in the One. All the Power there is, all the Presence there is, all the Love there is, all the Peace there is, all the Good there is, and the Only God that is is Omnipresent; consequently, the Infinite is in and through you, and is in and everything.”
